Mobile Food Pantries are held in partnership with local churches and Second Harvest Food Bank to bring food distribution to all parts of the county. A truck comes to the site loaded with groceries. Food boxes are given out to any and all Stanly County Residents that come.
1) Registrations will be taken from 8:00 – 11:00 AM on the day of the Mobile Food Pantry. | |
2) You must provide a photo ID and proof of residency in Stanly County to receive food from the Mobile Pantry. If you receive food stamps, please also bring your EBT card. | |
3) Once you have shopped at the Mobile Food Pantry, you must wait 2 weeks before you shop again at the SCCM Food Pantry or wait until your normal eligibility date, whichever is later. |

“Stanly Community Christian Ministry, Inc.” is a partner agency of Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina (SHFBM). SHFBM partners and distributes food and essential grocery items to approximately 550 hunger feeding agencies in 19 counties in North and South Carolina. Agencies served include emergency pantries, soup kitchens, senior programs, shelters and low-income daycares.
