Mobile Food Pantries are held in partnership with local churches and Second Harvest Food Bank to bring food distribution to all parts of the county. A truck comes to the site loaded with groceries. Food boxes are given out to any and all Stanly County Residents that come.
|1) Registrations will be taken from 8:00 – 11:00 AM on the day of the Mobile Food Pantry.|
|2) You must provide a photo ID and proof of residency in Stanly County to receive food from the Mobile Pantry. If you receive food stamps, please also bring your EBT card.|
|3) Once you have shopped at the Mobile Food Pantry, you must wait 2 weeks before you shop again at the SCCM Food Pantry or wait until your normal eligibility date, whichever is later.|
|4) COVID-19 Update: Mobile Pantries are now operating as a Drive-Thru system. Guests will be interviewed while in their vehicle and then food is loaded into the vehicle. Locations will be decided as the date gets closer to ensure there are no disruptions in public traffic for the Mobile Food Pantry events.
